Beginning in Berlin, a sizzling revitalized city – it is hard to tell just where the demolished Berlin Wall once stood. The Brandenburg Gate still stands, conceived in 1791 as a “Gate of Peace” it was incorporated into the “wall” when it was built in 1961 at the height of the “Cold War”. Walk through and you are in what once was the former East Berlin, for 41 years the Communist Capital of the German Democratic Republic. Dresden is a whimsical village on the River in Saxony, where The “Zwinger” holds a remarkable collection of “Old Masters” so much so that Art Historians compare the 18th century village with Baroque Palaces to Florence or Venice. Much of Prague’s present architectural beauty was achieved during the 14th century under the glory days of Charles IV, King of Bohemia. Here lies Europe’s longest and most beautiful Medieval bridges, set along the Vltava River, at the foot of the Castle District.

Victor Hugo once wrote "A dream is vital to prepare for the future". Thank you for your interest in this dreamy,  small luxury vessels while traveling on a scenic River, between three of Europe's more magnificent and exotic cities - Berlin - Dresden and Prague. We've plotted a course aboard the 5-star Katharina von Bora to discover river gorges, grand castles, tranquil towns, mixing famous masterpiece art collections, with local bakeries, antique markets, artist colonies, beer halls, historic castles, and  Bohemian sub-cultures,  even to the home of Martin Luther, in Wittenberg, a UNESCO Heritage site.
